Indoor these railings will last forever, outdoor you can expect 20 years from a good installation, except in Marine environments where 10 years is more likely. The system itself is tried & tested hardware, but the diligence & care in the installation have a massive impact on the safety and longevity. A rough installation quite often won't stay straight, won't last the distance and can't be fully trusted for safety.

The common finish of this system is zinc galvanised, but they can be powder coated or painted in any colour to fit with their surroundings
