Various levels of Government provide capital funding assistance & grants. In many cases Capital items can be funded 50% Local Council, Shire or Government and 50% State Government.

Please be aware most Funding & Grants Programs open & close at different times of the year. You should immediately check all programs relevant to your project for closing dates. Missing a deadline almost certainly means waiting for another year. Next to each of the links below we've added the applications' deadlines [2008 closing dates] we could find (as at 23 July 2008), Please Check for Yourself, they may change, if in doubt call relevant authority, wouldn't rely on websites always being up-to-date.

The eligibility tests & application processes are usually quite easy and can often be handled by the local Council or Shire. Working with local government and regional / state sports bodies is generally a good idea, they have experience with these kind of applications to make it easy & more likely to be approved.
